Context
Costs is the section where the seller can check and configure the fees for offering interest-free payment methods, as well as the processing fees for using the platform and the card machine.


The complete process
This project began with the target audience analysis and a desk research. The insights gained were crucial in identifying key challenges and exploring new opportunities.

Quantitative research with users
Some of the insights from this research:

of those couldn't find what they were looking for in the section. The topics with the most questions were: negotiating rates and terms of payment

Problems discovered
Quantitative research uncovered some problems that users were experiencing:
- The most accessed destinations in the cost area were Consult and Configure rates and terms
- Predominance of recurring accesses over 21 times per month
- Sellers couldn't find what they were looking for in the session (Negotiate fees and payment terms)
High level goals
According to the problems raised, we define the points to be resolved:
- Make the section easier to use for sellers
- Display the main functions more easily and intuitively: view and configure rates
Redefining the structure
The solution for the structure came from the idea of more easily displaying all rates on the home screen


New UI
- Restructuring the section resulted in a reduction in the number of clicks to view rates, and grouping of similar actions.
- Greater visibility to the seller of all fees charged, for each type of payment offered.
